The Long awaited second edition of the Kasoa Business Award known as “KABA” has finally been uncovered to the public. Ray Multimedia, an audio-visual production and event management company in Kasoa has launched the second edition of the Kasoa Business Awards scheme dubbed KABA’21.

The event which took place at The Church of Pentecost, PIWC, Kasoa on Sunday, the 11th of July 2021 was graced by dignitaries in and around the Kasoa environs such as Mrs. Anita Love Obo Amissah, Mr. Yaw Darkwah, Mr. Frank Abankwah, Mr. Bernard Oko Hene popularly known as “Nana 1” amongst others. Some Business magnets such as the Fashion Association of Ghana in Kasoa and Amamfrom respectively, Kasland Association of Makeup Artists, National Union of Private Schools – Ghana and the Ghana Association of Visual Arts also graced the occasion.

The launch was also livened with beautiful performances from Clark, a musician with a silky voice and Josh D’ Poet, a spoken word artist.

At the event, which streamed live on Facebook, the Head of Media and Publicity, Mr. Edwin Nyonator gave details of what this year’s edition of the Kasoa Business Awards (KABA) entails. He reiterated that the borders of the scheme has been extended to cover businesses within the SCC-Weija and Akotsi enclave in the Central Region unlike the maiden edition, which included businesses in Kasoa only. He also revealed that the categories of the scheme have been increased from 17 to 44 to include other aspects of business, and that nomination have been opened until August 15, 2021 and can be assess at the scheme’s website ( for all categories.

CEO of Ray Multimedia, Mr. Reindolf Boadi, stated in his speech that Ray Multimedia is committed to fostering development in the Kasoa Municipality, and that the Kasoa Business Awards scheme is aimed at honouring and setting best standards of excellence in businesses in Kasoa and beyond to prepare them to compete in the International front to put Ghana on the business world map.

This year’s awards’ night is expected to take place on the 25th of December 2021 at the Abbeam University Kasoa.
